Less time on administration, more time on the work only an attorney can do.

The challenge

Estate administration means coordinating deadlines, filings, inventories, and tax obligations across multiple stakeholders, with information spread across documents and prior correspondence.

The solution

The AI-Native Search experience answers procedural questions, retrieves supporting documents, and summarizes obligations and timelines from the matter's content. The attorney moves through estate tasks with speed and confidence.

Key Capabilities Used:

AI-Native Search experience.

Navigate to the estate matter in the iManage Next Gen Platform and open the AI-Native Search experience.

The search experience reads directly from the documents, filings, and correspondence stored in the matter, so every answer is grounded in the actual content on file.

Type the question as it arises, for example: "What filings are still outstanding for this estate and when are they due?"

The attorney asks in natural language without needing to know which document holds the answer.

The AI-Native Search experience returns a direct answer, cites the source documents it drew from, and surfaces any supporting correspondence or prior filings relevant to the question.

The attorney has the information needed to act without opening each document individually.

As administration progresses, ask further questions in the same session, for example: "Has the inventory of estate assets been completed?" or "What tax obligations apply based on the terms of the will?"

Each answer draws from the matter content and keeps the attorney moving through tasks at pace.
