Every round of edits, accounted for.

The challenge

A campaign video script moves through several rounds of review, with legal, brand, and product all marking up the same document. Keeping track of what changed between drafts, and being able to show why a claim was cut or reworded, gets lost when versions live in email threads. Once the video is produced, checking that the final cut says exactly what was approved means listening to it end to end.

The solution

Revisions preserves the full version history of the script, and built-in doc comparison shows exactly what changed between any two drafts. Video streaming plays the final video in the preview pane, and its media transcript lets the team find each amended claim and jump straight to that moment to confirm the wording matches the approved script. The team can see how the approved copy came to be, check that the audio delivers it, and answer any question about a claim long after sign-off.

Key Capabilities Used:

Revisions; Built-in doc comparison; Video Streaming (Media transcription).

Navigate to the campaign video script in the next-gen iManage platform and select Versions. If you want to see the full activity of the script, then click timeline.

The full version history loads, showing every saved draft with its date, time, and the name of the person who saved it.

Select the two versions to compare, for example the script before and after legal review, and launch built-in doc comparison.

The next-gen iManage platform generates a side-by-side view highlighting every addition, deletion, and modification between the two drafts.

Review the Change Summary and Redline to confirm which claims were amended and what effect they had.

The team can see exactly what changed in the script and why.

Open the final cut of the video in the Preview pane, find each amended claim in the transcript, and select it to jump to that timestamp. Copy the link to that moment and send it to legal for final sign-off.

Legal can confirm the video uses the approved wording without watching the whole recording, and the full history stays available to answer any question about the approved copy later.
