iManage Partner Certification Retesting Policy
iManage partner certifications are designed to validate the knowledge and skills required to successfully implement, support, and optimize iManage solutions. To ensure clarity and consistency for all learners, iManage maintains a standardized testing policy governing exam purchases and retake eligibility. The policy below outlines how exam attempts are allocated and how subsequent attempts may be obtained.
Initial purchase
Each certification exam purchase includes up to two (2) attempts to achieve a passing score. A single exam purchase is priced at $400 USD and allows the learner to sit for the exam no more than two times. The two attempts must be used for the same exam and are intended to provide one initial attempt and, if necessary, one retake. Once both included attempts have been used (regardless of outcome), the exam purchase is considered exhausted.
Subsequent attempts
- Any additional attempt beyond the two included attempts requires the learner to purchase the exam again. A repurchased exam provides one (1) attempt only and does not include any additional retakes. Each subsequent attempt is priced at $400 USD per attempt. This policy applies to all learners purchasing exams on or after the effective date listed above.
Testing policy frequently asked questions (FAQ)
What happens if I pass on my first attempt?
If you pass on your first attempt, no additional attempts are needed. Any unused attempt included with your purchase is forfeited and cannot be transferred or applied to another exam.
Do the two attempts have to used within a specific timeframe?
Attempts must be used in accordance with the exam’s registration and scheduling rules in effect at the time of purchase. Unused attempts expire when the exam purchase expires.
Can I transfer an unused attempt to another learner or another exam?
No. Exam attempts are non-transferable and may only be used by the original purchaser for the specific exam purchased.
What if I fail both included attempts?
If both included attempts are used without achieving a passing score, you must purchase the exam again to make another attempt.
How many attempts are included when I repurchase the exam after failing twice?
A repurchased exam includes one (1) attempt only. Additional retakes require additional exam purchases.
Is there a discounted price for retakes?
No. All exam purchases—including retakes—are priced at $400 USD per attempt.
Does this policy apply to exams purchased before March 2, 2026?
This policy applies to exams purchased on or after March 2, 2026. Exams purchased prior to that date are governed by the testing policy in effect at the time of purchase.
Does this policy apply to all certification exams?
Yes, unless otherwise explicitly stated for a specific exam or program.
